Upon successful completion of this course, you should be able to:
- Explain the coverage provided and the adjusting considerations for transportation and motor truck losses.
- Explain the coverage provided and the adjusting considerations for bailee and warehouse legal liability losses.
- Explain the interests of the unit owners and the condominium association in the individual units and the common elements.
- Given a claim situation, adjust a loss under the condominium association coverage form and the unit owner’s coverage form.
- Adjust a loss under builders risk policies.
- Explain how subrogation, termination of coverage, and loss adjustment are handled under builders risk policies.
- Describe the extent and limitations of coverage for crime losses under the Building and Personal Property Coverage Form (BPP) and the ISO Commercial Crime Coverage Form.
- Given a loss, outline the loss adjustment procedures for computer and computer-related losses.
- Describe legal liability for pollution under the Superfund law.
- Explain to what extent property insurance policies provide coverage for cleanup of pollution and how they exclude coverage.
