After completing this course, you should be able to evaluate a loss under an HO-3 policy.
Upon successful completion of this course, you should be able to:
- Describe the various parties and interests that may be insured under a homeowners policy.
- With respect to an HO-3, explain what is covered and what is excluded under:
- Coverage A
- Coverage B
- Coverage C
- Coverage D
- Property subject to special limits of liability
- Debris removal
- Ordinance or law
- Describe the insured’s duties after a loss under an HO-3.
- Describe the loss settlement provision for Coverages A, B, and C of an HO-3.
- Adjust a loss according to the terms of the specific homeowners policy involved.
